Reshidev RK was born in Kannur, Kerala, and discovered a passion for art the same day he learned how to hold a pencil. He went on to study sculpture at the Trivandrum College of Fine Arts. Advertising happened by accident. It was while pursuing sculpture that he realised his passion for illustration and took the leap into the industry, building his career on his unique style. His first stint was with Happy Advertising in Bengaluru, for clients like Lee and Diesel. His next stop was Wieden+Kennedy Delhi, where he has spent over 6 years and is currently Design Director. In this time, he has worked on clients such as IndiGo, Make In India, Royal Enfield and Nike, and received awards like the One Show and been featured by publications like Buzzfeed, Vogue etc. Reshidev's unique strength are his striking illustrations, that are inspired by contemporary discourses and rendered in the colourful style of his home state.
